Though by day they are both hard at work at the Columbia Pike Revitalization Organization (CPRO), as Associate Director and Events Coordinator respectively, Amy McWilliams and Stephen Gregory Smith’s spend their evenings in the spotlight!
Both are longtime area actors who have appeared at most of the DC area theatres, including Arlington’s own Signature Theatre.
Stephen is also a writer, having written several shows for Creative Cauldron in Falls Church, and most recently the lyrics for “Silver Belles“, currently playing at Signature Theatre.
Amy is a perennial actor in Ford’s Theater’s “A Christmas Carol” playing Mrs. Cratchit, and has also graced the stages of the Nation’s Capitol for many years. During that time, she has worked for CPRO for nearly 20 years.
Stephen started working for CPRO in May, but has also played a part in the regional theatre scene as an actor since 2000, and now as a writer at Arlington’s Signature Theatre and Falls Church’s Creative Cauldron.
Amy is currently appearing in “A Christmas Carol” at Ford’s Theatre, running until December 31, 2016.
Stephen is currently appearing in “Titanic” at Signature Theatre, running until January 29, 2017.
“Silver Belles” at Signature Theatre, which Stephen wrote the lyrics to, runs until December 31, 2016.
