The Columbia Pike Partnership Welcomes its New Business Engagement Specialist: Alejandra Underwood
(ARLINGTON, VA) In its most recent Strategic Plan update, adopted last year, the Columbia Pike Partnership set a goal to expand its team and gain more language support to be able to better serve our diverse community and better provide the needed skills and expertise to fulfill our mission.
In furtherance of this goal, we welcome a new member to our team: Alejandra Underwood who is now our Business Engagement Specialist.
Alejandra is a dedicated professional with an extensive track record assessing needs, improving efficiencies, and strengthening communities. Alejandra has over 10 years of outreach, training & technical assistance, and operations management experience in the non-profit, education, business, and government sectors. She is passionate about connecting others to resources and is eager to use her experience and skills to help businesses on The Pike.
Born and raised in Honduras, Alejandra is a native Spanish speaker and has called the Columbia Pike corridor home since 2012. Alejandra is an active member of the Arlington Medical Reserve Corps, the Crystal City Pentagon Rotary Club, and is a graduate of Arlington Neighborhood College.
