HISTORY OF THE MILL
The Arlington Mill, originally located near Columbia Pike and the Alexandria, Loudon and Hampshire Railroad where they cross Four Mile Run, was occupied by both Union and Confederate troops during skirmishes when the area changed hands several times.
Just steps from the bike trail, free parking for up to four hours is available in the Arlington Mill Community Center parking garage. To enter the garage from Columbia Pike, turn onto S. Dinwiddie St. Take the first street to your right and turn right again onto S. Arlington Mill Dr. The garage will be on the right.
